The Cold Spark
For Snarry100's Random Generator Prompt. I used Suggestion #3: The Cold Spark. Drabbles are so easy to write sometimes. :P

“So you are---?”

“I am.”

“And you haven’t---?”

“No.”

“This is what you---?”

“It is.”

“And there is no way I can---?”

“I have already told you.”

“Have you---?”

“I have.”

“Do you---?”

“I do.”

“Is this---?”

“Yes it is.”

“Will I---?”

“What do you think?”

“No.”

“Good answ---?!??”

…

“Let me go.”

A firm shake.

“Let me go NOW.”

A firmer shake.

“Let me go. Please?”

“No.”

“You are suffocating me.”

“Then you will die in my arms.”

“You cannot do this.”

“Watch me.”

“You are hurting me.”

“I know.”

Really unique use of dialogue. Makes me sit and wonder what this was all about, and who was who.

Would you like an explanation or do you enjoy coming to your own conclusions? =) (I don't want to spoil anything for you.)

Thank you for "In the Gloaming." :)

Unique is good. Snape is unique. Harry is unique. (I miss that red pepper between your teeth. Every time I saw it, "oooh. Alisanne!" Now it's bright, shiny, wet cotton-candy lips. *licks* Hmmm, not bad! Is it okay if I eat you?

I have my own conclusions but I wouldn't mind an explanation (since mine don't quite fit.. XD)

Sorry about the jet lag in answering this (I just saw your comment!). The prompt I had was "The Cold Spark," so what I instantly thought was: "It is a spark. Well, Snarry is all about t3h sparks. But I have to make it less "spark-y" and more "cold.""

This was the "coldest" I could come up with. I actually like the idea of make-up-your-own-mind-about-a-fanfic because that is how fanfiction is most interesting to me - if I make up my own mind about it, draw my own conclusions, so on. And the more ambiguous it is, the better. More to thik about!

But you said you wanted to know so here it is:
Harry and Severus. One of them is leaving (short-term or long-term is up to you). I happen to think that it is Severus who is leaving, and Harry who is asking him to think it through, but you can take it the other way. After being together so long, people tend to sound alike. But here is the "less cold" and more "spark" moment: They finish each other's sentences! That's why every line ends so abruptly --- because Severus and Harry have learned to understand each other implicitly.

Only thing is: Harry still doesn't understand why Severus is leaving (or vice versa, if that way works out better for you), and still feels the need to ask. But Severus know what he wants to ask, and can readily answer.

Tell me if this works for you! :3
