This is a very quick post of the best news I have had (snarry-wise)... ever:REAL-LIFE SNARRY IS EVEN BETTER THAN POTTER-WORLD BECAUSE IT IS REAL! Their names are Phillip Kirkorov and Andrei Danilko (Russian Pop singers; funny the two of them^^), and I have just seen cute lil clips from the 2003 New Year's [Happy] Resolutions movie: "Crazy Day or the Marriage of Figaro." The movie is crap (don't bother watching beyond the few clips, waste of time), but what makes it is the heartfelt presentation of the two characters played by these two. The dialogues of the clips are crap, also, btw, no worries about understanding them. What is worth seeing is the chemistry they have together! Kirkorov plays a Count who loves the ladies (LOL and let's just leave it at that!^^), and Andrei plays his page. They have no other significant meetings, and the most profound conversation they have is Kirkorov saying, "There's that damned page AGAIN!" and Danilko grovelling. But this ONE scene...Real-Life snarry (not the least b/c neither has as much chemistry with ANY of the women in the movie as they have with each other, and funny thing, THEY DON'T SPEND ALL THAT MUCH TIME TOGETHER, AND IT'S STILL NOTICEABLE!) And here is what they have in common with snarry:
Black eyes (Kirkorov)
Green(ish) eyes (Danilko)
Blond (Danilko; Harry is "blond," but in a different way!)
(Can't figure out which one corresponds to Snape, which to Harry; Kirkorov 'looks' more like Snape; he acts... yeah, more like Snape - even threatened to punish his paige 'Harry' in the movie!^^)
Tall, Dark, and Devilish (Kirkorov)
Short, stocky, cute (Danilko)
They both play heroes for each others (Just as 'Snape' saves 'Harry,' so 'Harry' saves his 'Snape'). This is my favorite Snarry comparison! :3

And it's Snarry, too, which makes it that much better. (And soon I will get around to writing up a fic that's been in my head for LONG ENOUGH and it is about time for it to come out. I have thought through even the little details that made me stop in my tracks. That doesn't mean it's not crap, though. :P Just means that I like it alot more than I don't, and would enjoy re-reading it once it is all put together and in front of me to enjoy!)

I visited a Halloween store today - just wanted to look at this year's costumes. Saw a battery-operated Harry Potter Magic Wand (TM) - it looks like something that Snape would enjoy while thinking of Harry (*mind totally in gutter*), but to my defense, the battery-operated thing is too big (and thick!^^) to be the size of a wand that "fits comfortably into the palm" of the hand. Apparently it lights up, b/c if it vibrated, that would be TOO MUCH INFORMATION!
Also saw a Gryffindor tie (like from the OoTP movie), a Snitch (with crappy plastic wings on it as well as a 3 and over warning label), Harry Potter glasses.
But I saw something much more fascinating. Something I nearly didn't say no to.
It was a plastic cauldron. (Like the ones people put outside when they decorate their homes for Halloween). It was a black, Halloween, witch's cauldron.
And all I could think about was Snape Potions-making.
The two sizes were 16in. and 8in. and the smaller one cost $2.99 and I almost bought it. (Until I reminded myself that I'd have nowhere to put it, nowhere to use it as I am twice the age of a Hogwarts first-year, and my Hogwarts invitation letter is ten-something years too late).
Besides, I don't need a cauldron. :3 Hot, strong, [Snarry] love tends to melt through the plastic anyways, and that's the only kind of love I want! |

I had an epiphany. Granted, it was a long time coming, but here it is at last. What is the last thing we see Harry doing at the end of Deathly Hallows? Exactly. Go up to his dorm to sleep. And what happens next? We are reading the Epilogue.
HARRY DREAMT UP THE EPILOGUE WHILE LYING ASLEEP IN THE GRYFFINDOR DORMS!
It has all the properties of a dream. The presence of everyone around who surrounded him last, the dream-like quality of it, the extension of reality... How else does he know what Ron and Hermione name their children when it hasn't happened yet?
And this... is a little crack-y homage. :P

TEAM DRAGON WON THE OLYMPICS!
I was hoping they would! :) Even more so when I realized that even personal bias aside, Team Dragon really was the better team!
Plus they won.
And I am very happy at having rooted for the winning team all along! Though to me Team Dragon were winners from the start, and even if Team Phoenix were this year's winners (a possibility as the winning margin was only 10 more votes for Dragon than Phoenix, which tells you that the teams were pretty much equal in their prowess), my loyalties would not change. I liked the Team before their gold medals, but I would have stood by them in any case.
Gryffindors get enough love anyway, stereotypical Gryffindor mascots that phoenixes are, anyway. It really is not easy being green, as any Slytherin would tell you.
So now let's eat, drink, and be merry b/c HIP HIP HOORAY! Dragon won! ^_^

(I did not hold out much hopes for a happy snarry ending from Rowling, but Denial is a very long river in Egypt, and Hope did escape the Pandora's Box last, so...)
